Material // Immaterial is a group show of three recent Byron School of Art graduates, are exploring emotional landscapes. They investigate memory and connection to place, but are also self-reflective of psychological states that we can find ourselves in. Julia, Justin and Jo work across differing mediums, with different outcomes, but the commonality of subject matter is shared. Their individual choices of medium and the ways in which they are used are simply methods to explore common themes, hence the materials really are immaterial.
